JAMMU, July 19: A Dog Show was organized for NCC Cadets during the ongoing Basic Leadership Camp at NCC Camping ground, Nagrota near here today.
The Show generated a lot of awareness about the role played by dogs in Army, especially in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The dogs displayed daredevilry and proficiency in tackling various obstacles and performing stunts to leave the cadets spell-bound.
Apart from the Dog Show, Inter-House Debate Competition was conducted during the Camp on the topic ‘Is Secular Fabric of the Nation Under Threat’.
Shivam Sharma of GGM Science College emerged as the winner, while Nishu Khajuria of GGHS Rehari was the runners-up.
CO 2 J&K Battalion, Karam Din witnessed the Debate and lauded the efforts of the students for brilliant performances.
