RAJOURI, July 22: The police arrested a drug peddler at Thannamandi today and recovered about one kg poppy straw from his possession.
A police spokesman said that a police Naka party from Thannamandi led by SHO Insp Karan Chalotra,
Intercepted one Saddam Hussain, son of Adalat Hussain, resident of Manyal village, and during frisking recovered one kilogram of `Bukki’ from his possession. The police arrested the drug peddler and seized the drugs. A case was registered against him. The recovery was made by police team under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi, Iftikhar Ahmed.
