KATHUA, July 24: A pedestrian was killed after hit by a car at Mirpur near Rajbagh today.
He has been identified as Chuni Lal, 55, S/o Kaka Ram of Mirpur Rajbagh in Kathua district. The car was on way from Udhampur to Shahpur. The driver of the car Ranjit Singh, S/o Rashpal Singh took him to District Hospital Kathua where doctors declared him brought dead. The driver was taken into custody and Rajbagh Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law against him.
