BANDIPORA : To ensure smooth conduct of the ensuing three days Gurez Festival being held from 5th of August to 7th of August at Gurez, the Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly and MLA Gurez Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today convened a meeting of the concerned officers at Gurez to review the arrangements of the festival.
The deputy speaker on the occasion impressed upon the officers to work with full cooperation and ensure all the arrangements like accommodation facilities, installation tents, seating arrangements, drinking water, power supply, proper sanitation, establishment of temporary toilets, washrooms, medicare and other arrangements. He said that a good number of guests from outside state are also expected to participate in the festival, so all the officers should try their utmost to keep every possible facility available to make the event a success.
The meeting was informed that various departments are going to install their stalls in the festival.
Among others, SDM Gurez was also present in the meeting.
