JAMMU, July 28: A man was today crushed to death by a bus here at Ambphalla.
“A hawker identified as Vijay Gupta, son of Mangat Ram, resident of Bhawani Nagar (Janipur, Jammu) was killed on the spot at T-morh in Ambphalla area when he came under the rear wheels of a bus bearing registration number JK02BA-8908”, police sources said.
They said that the mishap occurred this afternoon at about 2 pm when the bus was on its way from Jammu to Udhampur. “The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while a case was registered in this connection at police station Pacca Danga”, they further said, adding, no arrest could be made till now and driver of the bus is at large.
