SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in north Kashmir district of Baramulla this evening, official sources said.
They said an encounter ensued between militants and security forces in Uri in Baramulla this evening. A militant was killed in the encounter, they said adding operation was going on when the reports last came in. Some arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant. (AGENCIES)
