KATRA, July 31: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University organized Demonstration of Speedball Game for the students, here today.
The demonstration was given by the team of external experts led by Sunny Nanda, General Secretary as well as renowned international player of the game.
Students from various disciplines showed keen interest and actively participated in the demo.
It is pertinent to mention that external experts shared their knowledge and experiences with the University students, who in turn asked them questions. The experts also briefed the students about the rules of the game and cleared their doubts about this new game.
At the end, Faculty In-Charge Sports, Jajeev Atri, Assistant Prof Department of Mechanical Engineering and Capt. Sucha Singh, Sports Coach of University along with the expert team visited various hostels for the demo.
The event was organized by Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, SMVDSB.
