The face off between India and China at Doklam has become the cause of worry for both the countries. As India is emerging economic power in South Asia under the leadership of Narendra Modi. It is obvious that the hurdles may be created to halt its pace of development by China is feeling that if Indian economy grows at the present growth rate the economic hegemony of China will vanish in the coming years.
The policy of territorial expansion of China is hurting almost all the neighbouring countries but they don’t have the required will power and military capability to deter it. They expect India to be in a position where it can challange the China’s policy of expansionism in the region.
The Chinese leadership should show maturity to create the atmosphere for handling the situation peacefully.
Hope China shuns the policy of the territorial expansionism and follow the mantra of “Live and let to live” so that the peace can flourish in the sub-continent.
