JAMMU, Aug 20: A man has been booked for kidnapping a minor girl from Ban Sultan area, falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
As per police sources, a complaint has been lodged by the family members with police station Miran Sahib stating that their minor daughter aged around 18 years has been kidnapped by Mahinder Lal, son of Kaka Ram, a resident of Ban Sultan.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 363 RPC has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and hunt has been launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
