KATHUA, Aug 21: Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Hiranagar, representing Hiranagar Zone lifted the title trophy of Kho-Kho competition in the Inter School Clubbed Zone Level Tournaments for Under-19 boys and girls in the discipline of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Cricket and Athletics at Sports Stadium Hiranagar, here.
Unique Model HSS Chadwal won the trophy of Kabaddi (Zone Hiranagar) and Shastri Memorial HSS Haripur (Zone Hiranagar) emerged Champion in Volleyball.
The Tournament was held under the overall supervision of DYSSO Kathua, Subash Chander Bhardwaj and supervision of Sukesh Kumar, Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar.
Three zones namely Hiranagar, Sallan and Marheen participated in the tournament, which was inaugurated by ZPEO Hiranagar in the presence of ZPEOs Sallan and Marheen.
A total of 293 players drawn from 19 schools of the said three zones participated in the competitions of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball.
