JAMMU, Aug 26: Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry and MLA from Kalakote Constituency, Abdul Ghani Kohli conducted open public darbar for party activists and general public to address their problems at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar near here today.
While sharing his views on public darbar, Kohli said that BJP both at the Centre under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi as well as coalition partner in the State is committed to the welfare of public. The Mantra of BJP is “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikaas” and the party is committed to mitigate the problems faced by public.
He said that the aim of conducting this programme is to address public grievances at grass root level and BJP will conduct these type of programs on a regular basis where public can come and approach for any type of problem. BJP is committed to provide all the administrative facilities to the people of Jammu region at their doorstep so that no issue of the region remains unattended, he added.
Dozens of deputations from various areas of the region visited Party office to discuss and present their problems. Deputations presented the problems related to Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, installation and repair of hand pumps, water scarcity, wells, upgradation of lanes, construction of roads, pending benefits under Centre and State Government sponsored schemes road, bridges, electricity and others.
Minister sorted out many of their problems on the spot telephonically by taking them with the competent authority and forwarded the others to concerned departments with written instructions for their quick disposal.
The programme was coordinated by State secretary & State in charge election related matters, Rajinder Sharma and additional office secretary, Suresh Sharma.
