JAMMU, Aug 26: A deputation of Ajit Colony Welfare Committee (ACWC) today met Chief Engineer, PDD, Ashwani Gupta and submitted a memorandum of grievances.
The deputation members apprised the Chief Engineer that Ajit Colony has been facing problem of low voltage and erratic power supply for the last more than three years. In past one week, the situation has worsened, they added.
Rattan Sehgal, ACWC president informed him that there are two electric feeders in the area but one feeder i.e. TT (01) bears a load of only 20-50 Ampere whereas the second TT (02) bears the load from 136-320 Ampere.
The Chief Engineer assured the deputation that needful will be done at the earliest. He directed his staff on spot for early and appropriate action.
