JAMMU, Aug 28: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized State Deadlift Power Lifting Championship in men and women categories at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here today.
More than 150 participants from all over the State participated in this championship.
The Power-Man of J&K title was won by Ankush Bhatia, whereas the Power-Women of J&K title was clinched by Sapna Jain.
The Gold medal winners were Manjeet Singh, Sunil Kumar, Kamal Singh, Ankush Bhatia, Sukhwinder Singh, Taranjoot Singh, Danish Sharma, Ashish Sapolia, Gurwinder Singh, Sunny Kumar, Ravneet Singh, Gotam Chalotra, Nihal Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Dilawar, Harsh Dev Singh, Pawan Bhatia, Aftab, Shivam Gupta, Aryan Sharma, Brahmpreet, Samarthya Sharma, Amandeep, Anikat, Deepanshu and Sapna Jain.
The Silver medal winners were Bhupinder Pal Singh, Naveen Sharma, Sumeshwar Sharma, Gurwinder Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Sahil Digra, Shewatank Mahajan, Apoorvi Sharma, Sahil Choudhary.
The Bronze medal winners were Deep Singh, Koushal Kumar, Minku Singh, Ishan Gupta, Pushap Dev Singh, Akshay, Sanam Thakur, Shahbaaz, Akash Sharma, Nihal Singh, Harshit, Manav and Sanat.
On the valedictory function, Ramesh Arora, MLC, BJP along with Rajan Jain, General Secretary of the Association, Gourav Sotra and Iqbal Singh, members of the Association and SI Ranjit Kumar Rao, Incharge Hari Market Police Post and Lakha Singh. Super Incharge of the Championship presented the medals to the winners.
