SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Food & Supplies (F&S) XI registered solitary goal win over Iqbal Sports Football Club in this third match of the Premier Division League Football Tournament, played today at TRC ground, here.
It was a high voltage match as both the teams played aggressively. It was F&S XI team which netted the ball in 16th minute of the game through Amir. Both teams exhibited good football and the spectators praised the teams for the skills.
Iqbal Sports Football Club tried to equalize but failed and paved way to F&S XI to win the match by one goal.
At the end of the match, Jammu and Kashmir Football Association gave cash prize of Rs 500 to Amir of F&S XI team as he was declared as Man of the Match.
In Super Division match, Young Iqbal Football Club defeated State Football Academy by 4 goals to zero, whereas A-Division match played between Jahangir Football Club and Football Club Views ended in draw with 1:1 goal.
