JAMMU, Aug 29: Despite providing CCTV camera footage, police have failed to nab the thieves, who stole a car from Janipur area.
According to the complainant Danish Aggarwal, son of Vimal Aggarwal, a resident of Krishna Vihar, Janipur main stop, some thieves had stolen his Honda Civic car bearing registration number JK02P-1286 from outside his house during the intervening night of August 22 and 23.
He reported the matter to police and a case under relevant Sections was registered to arrest the accused.
Notwithstanding lapse of around one week, police have failed to arrest the thieves, whose faces are clearly shown in the CCTV footage provided by the complainant.
When contacted SHO Janipur said that police is working over the case and thieves will be behind the bars soon.
