REASI, Aug 30: The 2-Day District Level Inter School Fencing Championship organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra concluded at Shrine Board Sports Complex, here today.
About 100 fencers both male and female drawn from different Government as well as Private Educational Institutions participated in under-14, 17 and 19 age groups.
During the competition, Director Sports, Shrine Board Sports Complex, Ashok Kumar and the District Youth Services and Sports Officer Reasi, Dr Swaran Singh Chib interacted with the fencers and encouraged them.
Principal Amba Kids Home Panthal Ashwani Katoch and Manager Sports Complex Mr. Kotwal were also present on the concluding function.
The Gold Medal winners included Nikhil Atri, Ajay Singh, Baharat Dogra, Ankush Sharma, Harshdeep, Palak Bharti, Pragya Verma, Priyanka Bhagat, Muskan, Shruti Devi, Manya Kabla, Mandeep Singh, Satpal Kumar, Manzoor Ahmed, Shivasni Sharma, Anshika Bandral, Aryan Sharma, and Pihul Rajput.
The Silver Medal winners were Riya Manhas, Sandeep Sharma, Jyoti Thakur, Ayushi Rajput, Sahil Kumar, Rajbir Singh, Rashpal Singh, Kiran Katoch, Fiza Akhter, Mehak, Vanshika Bandral, Priyanka devi, Vishali, Tarun, Sourav, Gourav Thakur, Annyan Barru, Rakesh Kumar, while the Bronze Medals went to Jaspreet Singh, Priyanshu, Sunil Singh, Parshant Bali, Rashpal Sngh, Shivani, Nilakshi, Manvi, Suneha, Anita Devi, Kavi, Dilbagh, Parhas, Shivali, Mansi, Deeraj Kumar and Neha Rajput.
