JAMMU, Aug 31: All Jammu and Kashmir Draftsmen Association of PDD today discussed the pending issues.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership Balbir Singh Jamwal, the members projected the main issues of the cadre which included pay anomalies of Draftsmen cadre, creation of post of Electrical Draftsman, Head Draftsman and Head Computer in all the wings of PDD, J&K. They also demanded upgradation of post of Head Computer at par with AE (Gazetted) for which the case is already lying with GAD/ Estate Department.
Meanwhile, the Association in a function organised at Press Club, Jammu here felicitated five retirees of Draftsmen cadre today. They included Adeep Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Kuldip Singh Manhas and Ravinder Tickoo – all retired Head Computer and Hakumat Raj, Head Draftsman.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included- Sohan Lal, B D Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Jameet Ram, Murli Parihar, Ram Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Anil Kumar and Ashwani Gupta.
