JAMMU, Aug 31: Warm send off has been accorded to the retirees today in different departments.
Warm farewell was accorded to Dr Romesh Gupta, Medical Superintendent, Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu upon his superannuation. A function was organized in which large number of doctors and paramedical staff took part. He was very dedicated towards his duties and served at various prestigious posts in GMCH Jammu and SSH Jammu.
A warm farewell was accorded to Madan Gopal Gupta, Feeder Manager, Senior Provincial Vice President PPEU at EM&RE Divi-sion Kathua on his superannution. The emplo-yees of Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri and other districts participated in the function. Shakti Gupta, Provincial Chairman, PPEU Jammu said that Madan Gopal Gupta worked for the welfare of regular and daily wagers PDD during his 40 years service in PDD. Supinder Singh, Provincial Vice President PPEU, Suchait Singh, District President PPEU, Radhey Sham, District President of Daily Wager and other provincial and district leaders spoke on the occasion.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) organized a function to accord a warm send off to Sulekha Kumari, Assistant Registrar, who attained superannuation. The function was attended by many employees of the University. Pawan Singh, President, of the Union highlighted the contribution of Sulekha Kumari. The farewell was accorded during a function in presence of Ashwani Bakshi, Vice president, Sham Sharma, General Secretary, Sanjeev Chadha, Joint Secretary, Vikas Langer, Organizing Secretary, Abhinav Sharma, Treasurer, Padam Shri Padamani, Niranjan Singh Charak, Kewal Kumar, Jarnail Singh, Jasjeet Singh and Raghubir Singh Bandral, members of the Union.
Ram Paul Sharma, Senior Stenographer in the office of Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing Jammu was accorded warm farewell upon his superannuation after rendering 42 years of dedicated service. He joined the department in the year 1975 and discharged his duties efficiently. On the occasion, Ashwani Gupta, Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing Jammu, Inderjeet Sharma, Technical Officer besides other officers and officials of the department were present and presented a memento to Ram Paul Sharma as a token of love.
A warm farewell was given to ASI Pritam Lal, ASI Subash Chander and JC Daljit Singh on their superannuation from service by Jammu Police. The function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu. Officers/ Jawans of District Police lines Jammu were present on the occasion. Each retirees were honored with a cheque of Rs 50,000 as retirement gift out of Police Welfare Fund.
After serving Jammu and Kashmir Education Department for 32 years, 8 months and 11 days, Subash Chander, presently in Master Grade, attained superannuation from his services today. A native of Mankote village of Thandikassi area in Rajouri, Subash Chander is son of late Behari Lal Sharma who also served in Education Department since long. Subash got recruited in Education Department in 1985 on the post of teacher and served in different education institutions of Rajouri. He was promoted to the rank of Master and was presently posted in Government High School Chamba Panjgrian near Line of Control (LoC). Sharma attained superannuation from service today during which a farewell programme was organized by school staff and locals of the area.
A function was organized to Government Girls Middle School, Phinder, Zone Miran Sah-ib on the superannuation of Para-mjit Singh, senior teacher of the school. He retired from the Education Department after rendering 39 years of service. Large number of teachers, headmasters and officer bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum were present on the occasion.
