KATRA, Sept 1: Police today launched free battery car services for old age and specially abled persons from Darshani Gate Banganga to Katra town.
The service was formally inaugurated by Varinder Sharma, Dy Inspector General of Police, Udhampur-Reasi Range, in presence of Tahir Sajad Bhat, SSP Reasi; Sameer Kotwal, Addl. SP Katra; Dr Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra; Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO P/S Katra and others.
The free battery car service will be provided to specially abled persons and senior citizens from Darshani Deodi Banganga to Katra town. The service has been started as a public welfare initiative of J&K Police.
The initiative of J&K Police was appreciated by the yatries and locals.
