SRINAGAR, Sept 12: The ongoing Senior Hockey Championship 2017 is being organised by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K Sports Council at Polo ground hockey field, here.
Anantnag Hockey Club will lock horns with Shopian Hockey Club in the summit clash.
In the 1st semifinal, Shopian Hockey Club defeated Mahindra Hockey Club 2-1, while in the 2nd semifinal, Anantnag Hockey Club won by 3-2.
The Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir Nuzhat graced the occasion as a chief guest and lauded the efforts of organizers for providing the values and platform to the youth of the state to show their talent.
Prominent among others present on this occasion were Reyaz Ahmed, Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani, Dr. Upinder and Gurdeep Singh.
