The residents of Deena Nagar Barnai had heaved a sigh of relief when PDD completed cable laying work. It was expected that the area would receive 24×7 power supply, particularly in hot and humid conditions. But to our shock and dismay, there was something else in store for us. The new HT cable got burst four times during a short span of time leaving the Colony in complete darkness. As the damaged wire could not be replaced immediately, the people had to live without power. What a terrible period it was!. One shudders to think how people had to pass nights without power.
Hope, the PDD may once again look into this issue, and restore regular power supply.
