Hindi Diwas celebrated with pomp and show

JAMMU, Sept 14: Various Educational Institutions celebrated Hindi Divas with pom and show, here today.
To celebrate Hindi Diwas, GDC Paloura organised Hindi Week which had begun on September 9 and concluded today. During the week, debates, poetry recitation competitions were held under the supervision of Principal Asha Gupta and HoD Hindi Sunita Gupta.
Department of Hindi of GDC RS Pura celebrated ‘Hindi-Diwas’ under the guidance of Principal Prof. Kalpana Kesar and under the supervision of Prof. Harvinder Kour and Dr. Anuradha.
To celebrate Hindi Diwas, fifteen days long Hindi Pakhwara celebrations commenced today in Govt College of Education Jammu. On the Inaugural session Dr.Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College was the chief guest, Prof Anju Bala as guest of honour.
G D Goenka Public School, Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, celebrated ‘Hindi Divas’ with great fervour and enthusiasm. A special Morning Assembly was organised to promote our national language by the Goenkans and the Hindi faculty. Children presented a bonanza of songs, speech, poems and Hasya Kavita, while Principal of the School, Rajesh Rathore spoke on the occasion.
DPS Jammu organized a special assembly to celebrate Hindi Diwas with great fervour. The assembly began with the school prayer followed by pledge. The school choir then presented a song depicting the rich culture and literary history of the language. In her address, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra urged everyone to take pride in their National language Hindi.
Government Degree College (GDC), Khour in collaboration with Rashtriya Bhasha Prachar Samiti organized a grand function in its premises to celebrate Hindi Diwas. The function started with speech of the Principal, Dr RK Raina followed by other activities. Dr Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest of the function.
Students and staff of GDC Bhaderwah also celebrated Hindi Diwas. On the occasion, students presented speeches and poetry and also commemorated the contributions of Hindi poets and writers. Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Professor Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Dar, highlighted the importance of Hindi as National language and its adoption and acceptance at the global level.
To celebrate Hindi Diwas, a symposium was organized today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Garhi. Students from each of the four houses of the school took part in the symposium and threw light on the importance of Hindi as national language. The first three winners were awarded by Principal, Sunil Sharma.
A function to celebrate Hindi Diwas was also organized at GHSS Jakhbar in Kathua district. Various activities related to Hindi Diwas were organized on the occasion and students enthusiastically participated in every activity. Winners of various activities were awarded by Principal of the school, Romesh Kumar.
JKPPS, Miran Sahib celebrated Hindi Diwas with great pomp and show in the school premises. A special assembly was organized in which the students highlighted the rich history and tradition of Hindi language. The students presented a Nukkad Natak while a poem recitation competition highlighting the importance of Hindi Diwas, was also organized.
An impressive function was held at GDC Dharmari for celebrating the ‘Hindi Diwas. Principal, Dr. Tilak Raj Sharma presided over the function and threw light on the significance of the day.
To commemorate the day India adopted hindi as its official language, Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore Bridge, Samba today observed Hindi Diwas with great fervour and enthusiasm.
BSF School Jammu celebrated Hindi Diwas in the school campus to create an awakening in the young minds and to make the students more sensitive towards our Mother Tongue —Hindi. The celebration began with the devotional song sung to invoke the blessings of Almighty. Principal of the School, Dr SK Shukla threw light on the significance of the day.

Diwas in the school premises as a mark of acknowledgement of Hindi as the National language.
A special assembly was conducted to commemorate the day to
celebrate our National language. Students of Kindergarten recited beautiful poems in Hindi. Puja Sharma,the Director of the school spoke on the occasion and gave an insight and importance of Hindi Dohas in our daily life.
