JAMMU, Sept 14: On the concluding day of the Championship organized by the Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at its Gymnasium Hall, the Epee Individual event of the women section was held in which Sindhiya Sharma of GCW Parade won the gold medal, Akanksha Sabharwal of PG Department won the silver medal and 1st bronze medal went to Kanchan Thappa of PG Department and 2nd bronze medal was bagged by Ashnita Sharma of GCW, Parade.
With this the GCW Parade Team won the overall trophy of women championship whereas, the men championship was won by GDC Paloura team.
Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the Valedictory Function and awarded the trophies and medals to the winner teams and position holders in the presence of Ms.Suman Lata, P.D.Singh and Ravish Vaid.
Chotu Lal Sharma, Rachna Jamwal, Bisham Singh, Ajay Khartol and Ujjwal Gupta officiated the Championship.
