JAMMU, Sept 14: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, late last night.
According to a police official, a youth identified as Aju Singh (18) son of Mast Ram, resident of Buddan (Reasi) was admitted here in GMCH on August 9 following a road mishap at Chaklas.
He said the youth succumbed to his injuries yesterday at about 11 pm. “After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding the concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
