KATRA, Sept 15: Prof Jyotirmay Mathur from MNIT Jaipur visited the Department of Energy Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for a 2 days lecture series as Adjunct Professor.
Prof Mathur, a Ph.D from University of Essen, Germany, works in the field of energy planning and modelling, building energy simulation, energy conservation in buildings, and life cycle assessment of renewable energy systems.
Prof Mathur lectured students of M Tech Energy Management on e-QUEST, energy simulation software for buildings. His lecture was followed by a hands-on training on the software. This session was followed by a talk on the Energy Conservation Building Codes (ECBC) 2017.
Earlier, Dr Sanjeev Anand, Head Deptt of Energy Management, SMVDU, presented a welcome address.
