SRINAGAR, Sept 17: In its last Chapter of finals at the four venues of ‘Play for Health’ Football Colleges Football Tournament 2017, Degree College Anantnag and Islamia College Srinagar were among the winners, here today.
The other two colleges which won included Degree College Sopore and Degree College Ganderbal.
Earlier, Degree College Anantnag drubbed Degree College Kulgam by four goals to nil (4-0). Scorers were Ahnan Manzoor, Sobaan Ashiq, Rasij and Bilal Lone.
While in Srinagar, Islamia College Srinagar also drubbed DC Bemina by four goals to nil (4-0). The scorers from Islamia College wereShazan, Sharik, Basalat and Jazib.
At Baramulla DC Sopore defeated SSM Pattan College by one goal to nil (1-0). The goal scorer was Kamran.
At Bandipora, DC Ganderbal College defeated DC Bandipora by 2 goals to one. The scorers for Ganderbal were Yasir and Rafiq and for Bandipora, the goal scorer was Azhar.
With this, the first Chapter of Play for Health has been completed.
