JAMMU, Sept 20: Khuda Baksh Public School (KBPS) and MHAC School Nagbani emerge overall winners in District Level Inter-School Athletic Meet, here today.
About 1351 boys took part in the Meet, which was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu, under the patronage of Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, Director Youth Services & Sports, and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu while Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu was organizing secretary of the Meet.
Madan Lal was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the medals and trophies among the winners along with Sukh Dev Singh, Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Ashok Kumar Dogra, Principal Hr. Sec. School Rabta.
The main objective of the Met is to select the athletes in various track and field events for the upcoming competitions.
The gold medal winners in different events and age groups included Sunil Kumar of GHSS Dhakker, Raghav Gupta of MHAC Nagbani, Mustafa Farooq of JKPS Miran Sahib, Bhanu Sharma of Banyan International School, Pankaj Sharma of MHAC Nagbani, Arya Mahajan of JKPS, Murad Ali of MS Ratiyan, Tamandeep Singh of APS Miran Sahib, Mohd. Asif of KBP School, Gurjeet Singh of Shiksha Bhawan, KB Public School, Banyan International School, MHAC Nagbani, Akashdeep Singh of APS Domana, Harish Chander of KV No-2 and Randeep Singh of MHAC Nagbani.
