RAJOURI, Sept 21: A minor girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence while dead body of a missing elderly villager was recovered from Manawar Tawi in Sunderbani area today.
Official sources said that dead body of 16-year-old Gulnaz Akhtar, daughter of Showkat Ali, was found hanging from the ceiling of their room of Kuctha house at village Barhot in Budhal. The family noticed her and rushed to Budhal hospital where doctors declared her as dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, dead body of missing villager Krishan Lal (60), resident of Mawa village in Sunderbani was recovered from the bank of Manawar Tawi. He was missing for the last two days. His body was traced about 2 kms downstream. The police was investigating.
