UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, ACC and HCC sealed berths in the finals and will lock horns with each other in the summit clash at Subash Stadium, here today.
In the first semifinal ACC got the better of Rising Stunner Cricket Club.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, ACC scored 142 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rishab Sharma, Subham Kapoor and Sunil contributed 49, 31 and 23 runs respectively.
In reply, Rising Stunner bundled out for 95 runs, thus lost the match by 47 runs. Rohit Koul top scored with 37 runs, while Rash Paul contributed 20 runs to the total. Rishab Sharma was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant knock of 49 runs.
In another semifinal, Habshi Cricket Club defeated UCC in a close contest. Batting first, HCC scored 126 runs. Vikram top scored with 33 runs.
UCC, in reply managed to score 117 runs and lost the match by 9 runs. Amit Tadyal of Habshi Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match for his impressive bowling as he took 2 important wickets by conceding just 7 runs. The final will be played between ACC and Habshi Cricket Club.
