SAMBA, Sept 26: Pinky Devi, Kanchan Bala and Priya Angral claimed gold medals in throwing events of the ongoing Samba District Inter-School Under-19 Girls Athletic Meet, which concluded at Sports Stadium, here.
The Meet was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Samba, under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
Pinky bagged gold in Shot Put, while Kanchan and Priya clinched gold medals in Javelin and Discus throws respectively.
In High Jump, Razia Choudhary claimed the gold, while in Long Jump, the gold medal went to Sonia Devi.
The sprint gold went to Anjana Sharma, while Bandana Sharma claimed the gold medal medal in 200 meters event.
