JAMMU, Sept 26: Jammu District Thang-Ta Championship, organized by Jammu District Thang-Ta Association, under the banner of J&K Thang-Ta Association, concluded at Sankalp Rehabiliation and Multitherapy Centre, Shastri Nagar, here.
About 100 players from different schools and clubs participated in the Championship. Munish Sharma, Minister of State, Vice Chairman JAKFED and Sr. BJP leader was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed medals among the winners.
The Gold Medal winners included Vishal Malhotra, Saksham, Aayan, Shubam Hans, Rahul, Vansh, Gourav, Hitesh, Shubam Singh, Santosh, Arshid Chouhan, Shubam Kumar, Aarv pandita, rahul, Aareen, Manat Ganjoo and Gharima Misri, while the Silver Medals were bagged by Mussavi Ali, Nikhil, Faizan, Vishal, Himanshu, Danish Sharma, Varun Singh, Rishab, Nirali, Vandana, Vivaan, Harsh, Pratham, Lavanya and Sonakshi and the Bronze Medal winners included Harsh, Dev, Aman, Naman, Poonam, Ananya, Anjali, Sonam, Ridhima, Rakhi, Raghvi, Priya, Gudiya, Sonia, Manisha, Payal and Palvi
Vikas Gupta, Joint Secretary Judo Federation of India was the special guest, while Ajay Sangra was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sushma Sharma, Principal Sankalp School, Shweta Sharma, Santosh Kumari and Nihar.
The bouts were officiated by Shabir Ahmed, Shoket Latif, Rizwan Rasool and Munish Chatwal.
