UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: KC Kids Play School, Udhampur organized an Inter-School Poem Recitation competition for the kids of various schools, here today.
Tej Razdan, Principal, KCGPS was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme was organized and coordinated by Neha Khullar, Principal, KC Play School.
The programme was judged by Anita Pandoh, Ex-Principal, ASHA School and Research Scholar under SSA, Udhampur and Sunita Juneja, KCGPS, Udhampur.
The programme was divided into two parts viz. Hindi and English Poems. The Hindi Poems recitation was meant for the kids aged three years and above and the English Poems recitation was meant for the kids aged four years and above.
Neha Khullar informed that the aim behind this programme is to develop and polish the spoken skills of children in the field of poetry.
The kids of KC Kids Play school presented a welcome song and their school song on the occasion. The kids from Dhruva Army Pre Primary School, KC Gurukal Public School and KC Kids School participated in the programme.
The winners of the competitions were Erica George of DAPPS who claimed 1st position, while Prachi of DAPPS bagged 2nd position and Asmi Nargotra of K C Kids clinched 3rd position. Archiee Chopra bagged the consolation prize. The chief guest distributed medals among the winners on the occasion. Neha Khullar presented vote of thanks.
