SRINAGAR: The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh Wednesday felicitated Vice Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Sheikh Khalid Jehangir for being nominated for a prestigious USA fellowship.
The Deputy Chief Minister maintained that the fellowship would provide the requisite exposure to our young leaders so that they can effectively contribute their bit in nation-building. He said that since the next millennium belongs to India it is imperative that our young generation is fully equipped to face the challenges and these types scholarships would effectively hone our young minds.
It is pertinent to mention that VC JKPCC has been nominated by South East Asia Center, Pennsylvania USA for a fellowship titled Diplomacy and Outreach, aimed to promote constructive diplomacy in a changing world through innovative and inclusive approaches.
