Hiranagar Bishnah, Bhaderwah, Khour, Paloura register victories on Day-2

JAMMU, Oct 4: Government Degree College (GDC) Hiranagar, GDC Bishnah, GDC Bhaderwah, GDC Khour and GDC Paloura recorded victories on the second day of the Inter Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament, being organized by Government Degree College Kathua.
In the first match, GDC Bishnah defeated GDC Thannamandi by 32-18, while in the second match,  GDC Bhaderwah registered win over GDC Akhnoor by 8 points (28-20).
GDC Khour and GDC Hiranagar defeated their respective opponents GDC Ramnagar and GDC Udhampur by 42-19 and 33-15 points respectively.
GDC Ploura in a thrilling match defeated the opposing team from GDC Nowshera by a huge margin of 52-16 points.
Principal of GDC Kathua, Prof Kartar Chand along with Dr Nater Singh, Prof Dhian Singh and Prof PK Rao congratulated the winning teams for their outstanding performance.
The matches were officiated by Keshav Singh, Amandeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Rohit Kumar, Gagan Kumar, Sartaj Singh and Sukh Ram.
The tournament is being organised by Dr Balwinder Singh, Physical Director, GDC Kathua with the support of Sports Board of the College comprising of Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia, Prof Sandeep Choudhary, Dr RK Manhas, Dr Suraya Partap Singh, Dr Kehar Singh and Dr Rachna.
Among others present were Prof Anirurdh, Prof Rajkiran, Prof Rakesh Jasrotia, Prof Jasvinder Singh, Prof Shubh and Dr Mukhtiar Singh Saini.
