Scouting generates spirit of amity among youth: Shabir

JAMMU, Nov 08: Minister of State for Power, Forest, CAPD and Transport, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Khan has said that scouting forges spirit of camaraderie among youth and urged upon the youngsters to supplement the efforts of building a peaceful and harmonious society vital for peace, dignity and honour.
Interacting with a group of Scouts and Guides who met him under the Leadership District Secretary and Headquarter Commissioner Scouts and Guides, Mohammad Bashir Shawl on the eve of Annual Flag cum Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides here today, the Minister said that Scouts and Guides inculcate sense of discipline, duty, national integration, moral values and spirituality among the students. He said students have the ability and vitality   to give new colours to the social, political and economical profile of the society. He emphasized the need for nurturing youth with right perspective.
Shabir congratulated the Scouts and Guides on the Foundation day. He made a contribution to the annual day fund and wished the Scouts and Guides all success in their mission. He assured them that he is always prepared to help this noble, disciplined, committed, unified and universal friendly movement.
Earlier, the Scouts and Guides pinned the Flag Day sticker to the Minister.
