POONCH, Nov 8: While trade work Rs 1.17 crore took place at the Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point, the trader from PoK returned a loaded truck with chillies today.
Official sources said five truck goods worth Rs 29 lakh were sent to the PoK by the traders from Poonch today. However, a truck loaded with chillies was returned on the pretext of sub-standard stuff. The goods had been sent by one Bansi Lal trader from Poonch.
Ten trucks loaded with dry dates, walnuts and herbs arrived here from PoK side today. The value of the goods was put at around Rs 88 lakh. The LoC point was opened between 1 and 1.30 pm and then between 4 and 4.30 pm.
