KATRA, Oct 16: Newly constructed Martyrs Memorial was inaugurated by SSP Railway, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, here today during an impressive function at GRP Lines Katra.
The memorial has been constructed in the memory of those Police personnel, who attained martyrdom while performing official duties.
The SSP also inaugurated ‘Recreation Hall’ with modern facilities at GRP Lines Katra for the entertainment of jawans. The function was attended by SDPO Railway Katra, SHP P/S GRP Katra and other officers/jawans of GRP Katra.
Thereafter, SSP also held a Darbar at GRP Lines Katra in which grievances of officers, jawans of GRP Katra were listened and redressed appropriately.
