JAMMU, Nov 9: Two day Thakur Devraj Memorial Open Speedball Championship organised by J&K Sports Speedball Association commenced today at Guru Harkrishan Public School
The championship was inaugurated by Bhupinder Singh, Chairperson of the school in presence of Colonel GS Soodan, Director cum Principal of school, Sunny Nanda, general secretary of the association, organizing secretary of the championship Manika sharma.
Above 300 students from various schools are participating in the championship.
Today’s Results:
In Super solo under 14, Neel Bhan (TSPS), Satvik Gupta (TSPS) and Mayank Gupta (NSC) claimed first three positions, while, in under 16, Ankit Sharma (SDTPS), Gurmehar Singh (JPW) and Sarthak Luthra (JPW) emerged winners.
In Doubles, Ankit and Gurmanjeet (SDTPS), Meena and Vikas (NMHS) and Rekha and Sheetal (NMHS) emerged winners.
All Girls Single under 12, Tajinder Kour (GPS), Garima Bhat (CCS), Pallavi Kumari (DHSS), Ashley Singh (CCS), emerged winners, whereas, in under 14, Uditi Verma (NSC), Sungandh Mehta (TTS), Suneha Manhas (TTS), Rasneet Kour (GHPS). In under 16, Rhea Tikku (TSPS), Sakshi Vaid (NSC), Lakshmi Kumari (NEMHS) and Jaanvi Salathia (DHPS) emerged winners.
