JAMMU, Oct 22: KCC Bhalessa defeated Jammu Metro Cricket Club in a one-sided contest by 8 wickets to advance in the ongoing Ball Buster Cricket Championship at Parade ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Metro Cricket Club scored a paltry total of 82 runs with Amit and Sunil Gupta scoring 21 and 15 runs respectively. Kewal and Naresh took 3 wickets each for KCC Bhalessa, while Kavit claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, KCC Bhalessa reached the target easily in 10.3 overs by losing 2 wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. Rahul top scored with unbeaten 31 runs, while Vinay contributed unbeaten 14 runs. Sumit and Arvind claimed one wicket each for Jammu Metro Cricket Club. Kewal was adjudged as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman, Madan Mohan and Ashok Singh, while BK Tickoo was the commentator.
