JAMMU, Oct 22: An 18-year old youth who yesterday consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Sunderbani, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here.
The youth identified as Sham Lal son of Kripa Ram, resident of Thanger (Sunderbani) falling in the jurisdiction of police station Sunderbani, was shifted to GMCH Jammu, late last night after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Today at about 12.30 AM he breathed his last. After conducting postmortem, his body was handed over to his legal heirs. The concerned police had already taken cognizance of the matter.
