DODA, Oct 26:  Senior Congress leader and former MLA Bhaderwah,  Mohammed Sharief Niaz has alleged that the salary of  ReT teachers in the State has been kept withheld by the Government for the last many  months, resulting in starvation of families of the teachers and causing frustration and disappointment among the teacher’s community.
In a press statement here today, Niaz said that the regularization order of ReT teachers has been approved twenty two months back but still the orders have not been handed over to ReT teachers.  It is stated that when some leaders, representatives of ruling party can spare time then only these regularization orders will be distributed to teachers.
He also alleged that when these teachers raise their genuine demands for regularization orders and release of  salary, they are punished and threatened. Any Government employee individually or employees of trade union can raise demands under Trade Union Act and Government is bound to fulfill their demands.  But present regime and it’s officers  mentally torture and victimize employees for raising their demands.
Niaz said that this week  one Ishaq Rashid Malik, teacher Govt High School Budhli Education Zone Bhatyas has been attached with DIET Doda only for raising the demand of regularization orders and release of  salary for teachers.
The Congress leader said that Rashid Malik is an efficient and dutiful teacher who is always appreciated by students of his school. Teachers of entire district put their immense faith in him and he  has been elected president Teacher’s Association Doda. But due to his hard work and demands that he has been raising for teachers, he is being punished and harassed.
The Ex-MLA said that Govt must transfer Rashid Malik back to his School so that students of School don’t suffer anymore. He also sought regularization of ReT teachers and release of their pending wages.
