SRINAGAR, Oct 26: A meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association Kashmir Division was convened at Forest Guest House Chashmasahi, here today.
Presidents of various district units of Kashmir Division participated in the meeting. They included AR Ahangar, President of Anantnag District, Gulzar Ahmed (Srinagar), Fayaz Ahmed, General Secretary District Pulwama, Nazir Ahmed Mir (Budgam), Mushtaq Ahmed General Secretary District Srinagar and Shiekh Mohd Shaffi (Ganderbal).
The meeting was presided over by Rakesh Khajuria, General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association who while briefing on the occasion said, “The District Wrestling Championships will be organized soon by District Wrestling Associations and sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
The members also framed a calendar of activities on the occasion.
Later on, the District Wrestling Association members accompanied by Rakesh Khajuria General Secretary and Sanjeev Sharma, Joint Secretary of JKWA met the Divisional Sports Officer, Nuzhat Ara and submitted the schedule of activities across Kashmir province.
