JAMMU, Nov 10: Organized by the J&K Table Soccer Association, the 1st Jammu District Table Soccer Championship got underway at Spring Blossom’s School, Lakkar Mandi, here today.
The students from various districts, schools and the clubs are participating in the championship to display their talent.
Divya Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rahul Jamwal was guest of honour. Rameshwar Jamwal, president J&K Table Soccer Association was also present on the occasion.
Medal winners:
Under-8 boys singles: Santosh bagged gold; Daksh Singh, silver, while Ayush and Dhruv claimed bronze.
Under-10 boys singles: Ashish claimed gold; Vanshveer, silver, while bronze went to Munish Kesar and Piyush
Under-12 boys singles: Luv clinched gold; Shagun silver, while Vanshaj and Varun Thappa claimed bronze.
Under-14 boys single: Sahil bagged gold, Govind clinched silver, while Divjyot and Akshuk bagged bronze.
Under-16 boys single: Ankush bagged gold; Sanjay won silver, while Jagjeet got bronze.
Under-8 girls singles: Anshika won gold; while Tanushika got silver,
Under-12 girls singles: Aashima bagged gold; while Sahiba won silver.
