JAMMU, Oct 27: Outplaying Saksham Gupta in an easy contest in the summit clash, Ansh Chopra lifted the title trophy of the State Sub Junior Billiards Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Ansh got the better of his rival 3-0 by (51-22, 51-36, 53-40).
Meanwhile in the Junior Snooker matches which also started today, Ananya Mahajan defeated Ishan Gupta, Saaid Bashir beat Satyam Sharma, Sanraj Singh got better of Danish Gupta, Akash Mahajan trounced Jatin Basotra, Aman Sharma outplayed Jagteshwar Singh, Hargun Sethi drubbed Ashutosh Baloria, Stanzin outclassed Rishab Arora, Babloo Thakur beat his rival, Parish Sharma got the better of Aman Choudhary and Vasu Dev Gupta trounced Adhar Gupta.
Rakesh and Ashok were markers in the matches.
Meanwhile, the organizing secretary informed that last date of entry for participating in senior snooker is October 29, 2017.
