JAMMU, Oct 28: J&K Wrestling Association in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Ajay Vaid, General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association has decided that J&K Wrestling team shall participate in the Senior National Wrestling Championship, 62nd Men Free Style, Greco Roman Style and 20th Women Championship scheduled to be held at Indoor (Madya Pradesh) from Nov 15-18, 2017. The final selection trials will be held on Nov 04, 2017 at Bajrangi Akhara, Shalamar Road Jammu.
The interested participants can contact Jai Bharat, NIS qualified coach on 7006613038 and Pardeep Sharma, president Bajrangi Akhara Pardeep Sharma on 9858189980 well in time for their further selection for the National Wrestling Championship.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Vijay Pahalwan, vice president, Raju Sharma, treasurer, Swaran Lal, Raj Kumar, Mohd Sadiq, Vijay Gupta, Kamal Sharma, Jai Bharat and Pradeep Sharma.
