Two arrested with Rs 30,700 stake money

JAMMU, Oct 30: Police today apprehended two gamblers along with Rs 30,700 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, based on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raid in village Kotli Shah Doula and apprehended two gamblers along with Rs 30,700 stake money and four packs of playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Manohar Lal, son of Mola Ram and Lazer Massi, son of Mahi Massi, both residents of Tehsil RS Pura.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered against them at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
