JAMMU, Nov 1: Bagh-e-Bahu and Miran Sahib police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle.
During checking, police rescued four bovine animals and arrested two persons.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mahindra vehicle.
Police rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle during checking, while the driver managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and hunt has been launched to arrest the driver.
