Gobind Cricket Club drubs Chandigarh Lions by 10 runs

JAMMU, Nov 1: Gobind Cricket Club Jammu trounced Chandigarh Lions Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 10 runs in a thrilling contest in 2nd Sikh Premier league T-20 tournament, organized by Khalsa Cricket Club Jammu at Baba Jhule Shah Ground Camp Gole Gujral, here.
After winning toss, Gobind cricket club led by skipper Sukhvinder Singh Sonu elected to bat first and made 115 runs by losing 10 wickets in 20 overs.
Amritpal made 32  and Robin Singh scored 26 to help GCC score 115 runs.
For CLCC side, Gurjant took 3 wickets and Amanpreet claimed 2.
Chandigarh Lions cricket club could make only 105 runs, thus losing the match by10 runs
Amanpret Singh scored 23 runs for his team, while Damanpreet scored 22 runs.
From GCC side, Manpreet took 4 wickets, while Ramandeep and Jatinder grabbed 2 wickets each.
Ranjeet Kalra, vice chairman District Jammu Sports Council was the chief guest on this occasion.
