JK Bank thrashes J&K Forest by 4-1

SRINAGAR, Nov 2: Jammu and Kashmir Bank team thrashed J&K Forest team by four goals to one (4-1) in a one-sided encounter of Premier Division match in the ongoing State Football League played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here.
J&K Bank players dominated the match from the start of the play and Forest team defence line was helpless before their attacking play. Adnan opened account for J&K Bank team in just 3rd minute of the match. Adnan once again made it 2-0 in 25th minute of the match.
The Forest players tried their best to score, but failed to do so and the first half ended with score line reading 2-0 in favour of J&K Bank team.
In the second half, J&K Bank sealed the fate of the match early when Uneeb scored third goal for his team in 58th minute and Danish made it 4-0 in 65th minute. The lone goal for J&K Forest was scored by Furqan in 75th minute.
When the referee blew the final whistle it was 4-1 in favour of J&K Bank. Uneeb was declared as the player of the match.
Meanwhile, the State Football League, a mega event first of its kind in the history of J&K football, is going on at different venues of the state with full swing drawing huge crowds to the football venues. More than 500 football teams and clubs with over 12000 players and over 1500 team officials are participating in the mega event, the aim of which is to unearth the hidden talent across the State.
The event is being held across the 22 districts of the State these days and is being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) under the auspices of State Sports Council and on the directions of All India Football Federation (AIFF).
