Sports keep body mentally, physically fit: Lal Singh

JAMMU, Nov 11: 11th State Matsogi-Do Championship organised by J&K State Mastogi-Do Association concluded today at MA Stadium, here.
On the occasion, Member Parliament (MP), Choudhary Lal Singh was the chief guest, who distributed prizes amongst the winners in presence of Dilip Thusoo, secretary, J&K State sports Council, Sheikh Fazal Ahmed, Ex-Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, JP Singh, Director, Department of Youth Services and Sports, Jasbir Singh, Chairman, Unique Educational Trust, Gambir Singh Charak, Principal, Dogra Higher Secondary School, Rohini Rohit Gurung, Principal, Army School, Nagrota and other dignitaries.
While speaking, Member Parliament (MP), Choudhary Lal Singh congratulated the winners and asked them to participate in sports activities as sports keep the body mentally and physically fit. He said that Government is working for the upliftment of the sports activities in the State.
In boys below 9 years below 20 kg (yellow belt), Ansh Salathia, Ayush, Charanpreet and Jaswinder emerged winners.
In boys below 9 years below 20 kg (green and above), Nikunj Langer emerged winner.
In boys below 9 years 20-25 kg (below yellow), Kanaiyah Thakyal, Abhi Bist, Mandeep Singh and Ayush Mahajan emerged winners.
In boys below 9 years below 20 kg (green and brown), Nityam and Aman Gupta emerged winners.
In girls below 9 years below 19 kg (below yellow), Vidyanti, Mansi Choudhary, Shubhangwni and Tejasvi Sharma, emerged winners.
